Welcome Spring!

Spring is one of the most transformational seasons of all. Its arrival is imminent and I welcome it. My daffodils have already sprung and are yielding to other blooms.
The clocks are moved forward, plans for the yard are in place, a few plants and flowers have been gotten, and the excitement of the season of re-birth is in the air.

Love, joy, and peace!

Purpose

I really love this idea - the notion of purpose; finding your's and courageously engaging in it.
'What we really want to do is what we are really meant to do. When we do what we are meant to do, money comes to us, doors open for us; we feel useful and the work we do feels like play to us."
-Julia Cameron

Life is But a Dream

I am grateful for life. I am grateful for dreams.

This photograph is of a graphic on the side of a building in Ellensburg, Washington. I loved it when I saw it! It reminds me that we have the wherewith all to make our dreams our reality. We can discard old dreams and make new ones. Oh, yes we can!

I remind myself, daily to dream big. Dream true. Dream well.

Expressions of Creativity

I am grateful for the chance to express myself creatively. Though my arts and crafts art far from expert quality, I am pleased with them. Artistic expression is so fulfilling and beautiful to the soul.

I have painted with water color pictures on canvas and paper, sketched with pencil in black and white, fashioned pottery, made collages with pictures and varuious elements - even woven baskets. With every project, I have stepped back and said, "this is good!" I love that creative, articstic projects allow me to use the the right side of my brain, whereas most of my days' work relgates me to left-brain thinking.

Oh, the joys of whole-brain thinking!

Daughters

I am grateful for my daughters. They are different, yet alike in many ways. Both are brilliant, funny, savvy, resourceful, thoughtful, reflective, and beautiful. My Girls!

Easter Sunday

I am grateful for this sunny, warm, peaceful, quiet Easter Sunday. Easter, in my mind, is the official beginning of the new season - spring. It is also a time to affirm the newness of life. I look forward to new beginnings.

Blessings to all.

Spring Rebirth

I am grateful for this beautiful spring season. Spring helps me to realize in its vivid excellence the rebirth of life. Everything seems to come out of dormancy--trees, flowers, birds, bees, the sun, even people!

I simply love it!

The Simple Things

I am grateful for the simple things that life affords. Peace of mind. Love unlimited. Happiness. Joy. Abundance. I too am grateful that I realize that these simplicities require effort and determination.

What are you grateful for?

A dear friend extended an invitation to record for the next 21 days what we are grateful for. I am extending the invitation to you.

Will you commit to record in writing what you are grateful for? I am choosing to do it on my Facebook wall and in my personal journal.

Will you join me?

Gratefully yours!

Peace Within

This is a quote that a friend sent. I think it worthy for all to see.

Peace Within

"May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love. It is there for each and every one of us." -Unknown

Enjoy!
